Visit Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado

Virginia Satir led month long Process Communities in Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado. She became a great friend of Allen Cox, proprietor of The Nordic Inn. Virginia loved picking wild rhubarb for pie and riding in the July 4^th parade.

Her grave site in the Crested Butte Cemetery is marked with a large slab of rose quartz.

Mt. Crested Butte is located southwest of Denver in the beautiful Colorado Rockies. The distance is approximately 231 miles and the drive time is approximately 5 hours. Mt. Crested Butte is at 9375 feet above sea level.
