Increasing Membership in the
Satir Global Family
The goal of this project is to see and look at our Satir Global family. To work on increasing membership not only in Avanta, but to see the development and support of individuals, groups, Institutes and Affiliates through out the world. In a way what we are looking for is what Maureen Graves (Avanta Board Member) said is part of the AA idea, to have members by attraction rather than by marketing. This is why we want you to promote the Satir Conferences, Website and trainings. Let other experience the spirit of Satir in action.
You can support and join in this effort by encouraging friends and colleagues to attend the Satir Conference, to visit our Website and see the many links we have all over the world. And you can also encourage others to become members of Friends of Avanta.
At this time we are working with new members that are helping us to come up with an application that is more inviting and easier to complete. We are in the process of making available on line for individuals to complete a membership application and pay dues. It is our hope to have this in place by late spring 2005. Stay tune!
