I want to start getting you ready for the 2006 Satir Conference and Annual Meeting and again the opportunity to participate in Avanta's silent and open auction. We missed doing the auction this year (2005) and so we are excited to bring the event back for next year. Start collecting items that you feel will get people to participate and support Avanta in this fun and fundraising activity. Funds raised will go towards the Scholarship Fund. We will send more details later on at the same time you can start collecting and even send donations to the Avanta Office. Our hope is to make 2006 the best year ever!

Just a brief note to once more thank all of you who participated in 2005 first Board election by mail. We will be doing this again in 2006. Want to ask you to start thinking of potential members to run for the Board of Directors. From now until the end of January is your time to send names to Diana Hall. Even if it is early you may want to talk with others (or yourself) to see if they want to run for the Board in 2006.
