Dear Friends,
We, as with most of you, feel
that December is a busy month as we spend time with family and friends and
also prepare for the next year. So we want to join others in wishing each
and all of you a peaceful ending to this year. 2005 has brought some many
difficult events, like hurricanes around the world, war, and other natural
and human caused disasters. So we may be ending the year with a heavy heart,
and commitment to continue the work we believe in, so as to bring hope
and action now and next year.
It is in the spirit of
connection and working together that we are sending this Newsletter. Yes,
we know it is long...take your time to read and to see how you can join
and support Avanta's activities.
We feel all that is
contained in this newsletter is important, and we want to start by sharing
with you how to connect with other Avanta members, by finding them using
Avanta's online directory. Take some time, check it out, and see how easy
it is going to be to find each other.
There is a lot more in this
Newsletter. We are working with a new format and we feel it is user
friendly and will allow you to go to each area at your own pace. Finally Louise and Margarita, your staff, know that 2006 will be a transition year, and our last year in the Central Office as we know it. Yet we are committed to make it the best ever, so again see all that is happening and how to join us in this important year.
