Satir Certification Program Launched – Sharon Loeschen
We are excited to be offering a new program through Avanta. It is a psycho-educational program for the general public entitled, “Enriching Your Relationship with Yourself and Others-Based on the Teachings of Virginia Satir.” And it is our hope that many of you will want to become certified as trainers in this program.
The program has been designed in levels, the first two levels are for general skill development and the third is for applying the skills to a particular area such as health care, education, parenting, etc. “Level 1” will consist of 7 hours or a one-day training and Levels 2 and 3 will each consist of 14 hours or two-day trainings. Three hour booster workshops will also be offered.
The next Level 1 training will be offered in Long Beach, California on January 7, 2006 and Level 2 is being planned for March 11th and 12th. Please contact the office if you wish to register. Also, is you would like to have the training offered in your area, let the office know.
