We are happy to announce that the Satir Practitioners Registry is now available and ready for you to register on the Avanta website at http://www.avanta.net/Practitioners/Practitioners.htm.
In our January 2005 newsletter we announced the development of the Registry for Satir practitioners. The purpose of the Registry is to provide a list of practitioners who use the Satir Growth Model in their profession. This list is available free to anyone to search for a Satir practitioner in their area.
We tested the Registry by offering it on a limited basis for several months. During this trial period, we received very helpful feedback from a number of Avanta members. Based on their feedback we modified the wording of the application criteria to be more inclusive. We also adjusted the Registry fee based on the practitioner’s country of residence, using the IFTA model as we do for the membership fee. There is also an information page which provides answers for the most frequently asked questions about the Registry at http://www.avanta.net/Practitioners/PractCriteria.htm.
