Avanta's Living Treasures for 2006
Virginia Satir established in 1983 the Living Treasure Award to honor Avantans who have made a significant contribution to the Avanta organization and to its mission. For 2006, Avanta will be honoring four individuals: Connie Lundgren, Hilda Richards, Bob Spitzer, and Gloria Taylor.
This summer at the Satir Conference beside celebrating Virginia Satir's 90th birthday and her legacy, we will also be honoring each of our Living Treasures. We invite you to participate by sending letters, cards, or pictures to have in a "Memory Book" for each of them. We plan to honor each of Living Treasure on different days beginning at 5:30pm and continuing with dinner at 6:00pm. We realize the celebration will be shorter than in the past years, so your letters for the book is so important - Letters last a life time.
