From the Executive Director - Margarita Suarez
Dear Friends and Avanta Members,
This is a Bulletin full of information and possibilities for your own connection with each other and with Avanta. Therefore my letter this time will be short.
This is a year of continuation, transition and changes. The other day in my meditation I came to this sentence that I feel with some adaptation could be our motto for the year:
"For all that has been, Thanks
For all that we could be, Yes"
I want to bring your attention to all the areas where you can be part and support this transition.

2006 Conference, an event most in my mind since it is the last one for our Central Office. Come to all or part of it and/or support someone else to come. Remember early Bird Registration is May 1st.

Elections - by running for the Board of Directors and/or calling Diana Hall with your name or other names of possible nominees.

Fund Development - see their letter on all of the exciting programs they have. Join in the "fun" of fund development.

Our Living Treasures - we will be honoring four individuals at the 2006 Satir Conference as Living Treasurer: Hilda Richards, Connie Lundgren, Robert Spitzer, and Gloria Taylor. We encourage you to send cards and letters to the Avanta office to be included in a memory book that each recipient will receive.
As for us in the office we are here to serve you. Let us know how we can be there for you and make this year one of the best ever.
