In the name of the organizing committee I would like to invite you to THE WORLD FAMILY CONFERENCE that will be held on May 16-19, 2007 in Prague under the Auspices of the Lord Mayor of the city Dr. Pavel Bem. This conference will be sponsored by Avanta, Czech and Slovak Satir Institutes at the occasion of the 90th Birthday of Virginia Satir and the 20th Anniversary of the first World conference on family therapy in Prague under Virginia's honorary direction. This multidisciplinary conference will also include Avanta's annual meeting of members and institutes.
We hope you will join us at this exciting event to make new connections and reconnect with your many friends, teachers and students, to see, spread and anchor the Satir growth model, enrich and accept visitors coming from different continents and professionals to celebrate life and legacy of Virginia in a FAMILY IN A GLOBAL WORLD conference. You are welcome to touch the unique spirit of the historical beauty of the city of Prague while visiting the capital of Czech republic and even planning more exciting trips to the close capitals of Slovakia, Bratislava, to Hungarian Budapest or Austrian Vienna as part of the cultural program of the conference. There are even more exciting projects planned to visit and work in Satir groups in Baku or Tadzhikistan with the Institute of International Connections (IIC).
