Primary reasons for Avanta to continue as determined by the Board of Directors

Since the November 2005 Board meeting, your Board members have spend time individually and as a group sharing the scope of Avanta in the now and in the future. At the March 2006 Board meeting, the Board of Directors discussed the importance of Avanta to be:

  • significance

  • focused

  • positive

  • relevant

Based upon their sharing and discussion the Board of Directors committed to the following:

  1. To promote the teaching, sharing, use and development worldwide of the belief System rooted in the teachings of Virginia Satir, collectively know as the Satir Growth Model.

  2. To provide an inclusive forum to support and encourage the creativity of individuals, groups and institutes in the use, sharing and development of the Satir Growth Model.
