Alvin
Gervais was diagnosed in January with stage 4 melanoma of the lymph
nodes and pulmonary metastasis. In August, Alvin began some new medication
that is on a 90 day cycle with some side affects. He is tremendously
enthusiasm about the medication. He states "Nobody is going to tell me
when my time is up. I'm not the average guy. Everyday is life giving." He
said that he and his wife, Beverly, "are in this together." In July,
Alvin attended John Banmen's Brief Therapy residential workshop and "it was
good with a lot of learning." He sends "Greetings and thanks for everyone's
energy."

Joyce Munschauer is recovering from ovarian cancer, grade 3. Her PET and
CAT scans in August showed a complete remission of the cancer. This is
wonderful to hear and we thank her family for keeping us posted on her
progress.

Stephen Young is recovering from a stroke
he suffered in August.

Jackie Schwartz died August 2nd at 70
years old. Jackie had been ill for a long time with Multiple Myeloma.

Laura Dodson's mother died. She was 99 years old.
