We shared with you last year the two main
projects for Fund Development were Life Long membership and
Virginia Satir Wall for Peace and Justice.
Life Long Membership
In 2006, we have 4 Life Long memberships. It is our goal to double that in 2007. Remember that the Life Long membership fee is based upon your country. You can purchase a Life Long membership by going to www.avanta.net and clicking on Membership Renewal. Now is the time to be thinking about renewing your annual dues for 2007 or purchasing a Life Long membership.
Virginia Satir Wall of Peace and Justice
Those who attended the 2006 Satir
Conference and Annual Meeting were able to see the wonderful tribute to
Virginia and the energy that comes from this special wall. Thank you Green
Pastures Whole Person Development Centre of Hong Kong for donating the wall
to Avanta and this project. We now have a total of 26 bricks
completed. Our plan is to have this wall on our Website. But for now
you can go to the 2006 Conference Photo Gallery and see Esther Chui Ping Lau
writing inscriptions on the wall. Thank you Esther for the beautiful
calligraphy and for the many hours that you have given to this project.
Hana
Scibranyova has taken the Virginia Satir Wall of Peace and Justice back to
the Czech Republic where in 2007 it will be on display at the World Family
Conference in Prague.

Graves reported this year's Silent and Live Auction was very successful.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 for 2006. Currently we are at $9,855. We have three months until the end of 2006. Will we make it or surpass it?
