Throughout the year you have heard from
John Banmen whose role now is Publications Functional Director. Those
who attended the Satir Conference were able to see two new publications and
a DVD. The first publication was the "Celebration Book - Honoring Virginia
Satir and Her Legacy on her 90th Birthday." This book was a one time
publication of letters written to Virginia by 58 authors on her 90th
birthday. This publication is no longer available. The second publication
was "Applications of the Satir Growth Model" which is a compilation of 23
contributing authors on the use of the Satir Growth Model. We hope to sell
500 copies of this book which is available through the Avanta bookstore. You

The new DVD "Reflections: An Oral
History of Virginia Satir" although not a book is another publication
of Avanta. John Banmen involved Jesse Carlock in this project. Again below
you can learn more about the DVD.
As we move into the transition and a
more restricted budget, we need to find the financial support for future
publications. We want you and your colleagues support in purchasing the
"Applications of the Satir Growth Model" and the DVD "Reflections."
Proceeds will help in producing more.
Finally for a limited time you will be
able to order a live recording of Jean Houston's day long presentation at
the 2006 Satir Conference. We pre-sold the 2 -DVD set at the conference and
