Honoring Virginia Satir and Her Legacy on her 90th Birthday (1916 -1988)
Honoring Virginia Satir and Her Legacy on her 90th Birthday (1916 -1988)

- John Banmen, Editor

Celebrating music composer's birthdays after they departed is very common. Celebrating Virginia Satir's 90th birthday eighteen years after she died is new. Hopefully we will celebrate her 100th birthday ten years from now.

This section of the "Writings" contains what Satir Global friends and colleagues have said about Virginia Satir, her impact on them and what they said about themselves. I hope it will rekindle and deepen your own appreciation of Virginia Satir as you read what others are sharing with all of us.

I like to thank the many people who have contributed to this writing section to honor Virginia Satir and appreciate her impact on their life. We also appreciate the impact she had and is having on many people in many countries.

You are welcome to submit your letters to honor Virginia Satir. Contact John Banmen for more details.
